This waistcoat, styled with a shawl-type collar of that worn in the early 1860s, was made of silk brocade with extensive hand sewing in addition to machine sewing where appropriate. The deep red / maroon and white stripes will lend a bit of style to your period wardrobe. Features two waist pockets and a watch pocket, handsewn button holes, polished cotton pocketing and back, and a full shawl-styled collar extending completely around the neck.

There is a lot of room for adjustment in the back, hence the range of waist sizes this waistcoat will fit. The back is adjustable with a brass buckle and polished cotton strap.
