This Reefer Jacket, made after Devere’s 1866 pattern, is exceedingly warm and perfect for those crisp winter days. It has seen a lot of use, both in and out of reenacting, but is still in excellent shape. Features a double-breasted design, very loosely cut, large enough to fit a sweater or other layers underneath. Made from a durable herringbone wool, and lined throughout with a reproduction ‘alpaca’ wool. Quilted in both the front and back for extra warmth, with several layers of padding and hand-dyed interlining. Hand sewn buttonholes, deep outside pockets with flaps which can hold just about everything, and an inside breast pocket complete the coat. You will love wearing this!
Drafted for a 38 inch chest, though will fit up to a 42 inch chest because of the significant amount of ease built in to this style.
Overall Length: 33 inches
Sleeve Length 24 inches
