This is my prized double breasted frock coat, used for maybe a half-dozen events. I hate to get rid of it, but I no longer participate in reenactments and have no real reason to keep it in my closet. It’s in excellent condition
Made of a custom-dyed grey Hainsworth Doeskin, and lined with a silk-cotton sateen, the materials are as close as we can get to the materials of the period. Also features extensive quilting, appropriate quilting in the chest, back, and skirt, and hand-dyed interlining (which sadly we can’t see, but it’s there!).
The coat also features hand-sewn buttonholes, two inside breast pockets, two hidden interior plait pockets, and one of the most unique features, hand embroidered buttons.
