    This may be a silly question. If I’m using the spreadsheet, do I need to use the graduated ruler or a common ruler? In other words, are the measurements generated on the spreadsheet the common inch, or the graduated inch?

    It is my understanding that the purpose of the spreadsheet is to calculate the graduations. If anyone can send me the spreadsheet I would appreciate it. I lost it on a recent computer crash.

    Yes, the numbers that you get in the spreadsheet are common inches, so you can avoid having to print out the graduated rulers.
